Wage: $150K – $175K + hourly rate based on billable hours

Experience & Qualifications:
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Tech
- Extensive hands on experience combined with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
- Must have familiarity with mining industry
- Through knowledge of of maintenance and repair of hydraulic mining equipment
- Komatsu, Cat/Terex and Hitachi experience
- Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively connect with customers
- Project management and quote preparation
- Computer proficiency
- Valid drivers licence
- Microsoft Office, Teams, and CMMS knowledge
- Ability to travel within Canada 60% – 70% of the time with some international travel as well
- Drug, alcohol and criminal check required for some sites
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Operation of assigned field based projects
- Supervise a variety trades people to maintain, repair, rebuild all types of heavy mining equipment
- Efficiently utilize available workforce and ensure the safe working of all
- Work out of Spruce Grove Alberta office with travel to sites
- Perform job observations, site inspections and set safety standards and expectations
- Provide daily updates to customers and management team.
- Take corrective action for improvement when needed with a proactive approach
- Lead toolbox talks and monthly/ weekly safety meetings – BE A SAFETY LEADER
- Perform other related duties as assigned
