Shifts: 7am – 3:30pm
Skills & Qualifications:
- Red Seal or Ticket in Millwright (HDM or Mechanical Fitter may be considered)
- Strong hydraulic troubleshooting
- Excellent English communication skills
- Forklift certification
- Class 5 BC Driver’s License with clean abstract
- Capable of working at high heights and lifting heavy materials up to WCB restrictions
- Successful candidates must undergo a criminal record check
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Perform inspections to equipment and machinery while maintaining service records and logs
- Rebuild and/or repair of equipment and machinery
- Assist with major overhauls, modifications and alterations as required
- Assist with daily preventive maintenance program
- Meet assigned training obligations
- Ensuring work orders are completed properly and accurately
- Safely operate mobile equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts, zoom booms)
- Using CMMS programs on a daily basis after training
- Perform other related duties as assigned
