Maintenance Electrician – Hamilton, ON

Hourly Wage: $41.02 + COLA ($0.35/hour) + Shift Premium ($1.00/hour)

Shifts: 8-hour Mon-Friday Rotating Shifts (NO WEEKENDS!)
Requirements:
- Industrial Electrician Certificate of Qualification (442A or 309A w/ maintenance exp.)
- North American Manufacturing Experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a multi-trade team
- Adhere to plant and safety protocols, utilizing provided personal protective equipment
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics for work procedures
- Inspect, test, dismantle, repair, replace, or adjust faulty parts on wiring on electrical equipment (i.e., switches, circuit breakers, transformers, panel boards)
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as jacks, forklifts, and cranes to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Assist in both proactive and reactive troubleshooting and repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Contribute to the preventative maintenance program by offering improvement recommendations.
