Our client is a second generation family-run business specializing in lubrication systems for various industries internationally. They are seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team in Delta, BC. This is a rare opportunity for a Machinist who takes great pride in their work.

Wage: $35 – $45 hourly DOE
Benefits: comprehensive benefit package after 3 months
Shifts: 4 x 10 or 5 x 8 shift options
Skills & Qualifications:
- Red Seal certification preferred but equivalent experience will be considered
- Ability to machine from various materials utilizing conventional and CNC equipment
- Programming and set up competency
- Manual machining experience
- Water Jet CNC experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of metal processing techniques (milling and turning).
- Ability to work within extremely tight tolerances
- Excellent organization, time-management, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pride of workmanship
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CNC machine, lathes, grinding machines, tool, and other machinery as required.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study samples parts to determine machining operation to be performed, and plan best sequence of operations.
- Provide technical leadership and provide solutions and support for process concerns or improvement.
- Responsible for cost reduction identification and implementation.
