Education:

  • Journeyperson Cabinet Maker (ideal but not required).

  • Valid Class 5 Drivers license.

  • First Aid Certification.

Experience:  

  • Minimum of 5+ years of woodworking.

  • Minimum of 3+ years managing a woodshop while directly managing a minimum of 5 employees.

  • Forklift Experience.

  • Coating and spray experience (ideal but not required). 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude related to maintenance and repair of various tools and machines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Employee scheduling, training, supervision, and discipline. 

  • Manage in-shop safety program. 

  • Quantify each operation process and set target processing time for each cabinet.

  • Define internal quality controls and checks.

  • Develop machine maintenance plans for annual, monthly, weekly and daily activities.

  • Other duties as required.
