Located just a 25 minute drive from Vaughan, Newmarket, and Aurora, King, ON is a great option for those who like the small town life but still want to be close to bigger communities. Salary: $30-$40/hr, depending on experience. Incentive bonus program based on goals.

310T or Red Seal Truck and Transport Mechanic ticket required.
Class A Mechanic’s License preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
3 years of experience in the medium/heavy duty truck or automotive industry
Experience with routine maintenance operations.
Experience working with commercial equipment, machinery and vehicles.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of product and technical knowledge.
Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to vehicle safety.
Must be self-motivated and have good written and verbal communication skills.
Must conduct his/herself in a professional manner.
Have the ability to work other shifts for coverage of sick days or vacation relief.
Have the ability to deal with large volumes of work and stressful situations.
Ability to lead, guide and mentor apprentices in the shop.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs to equipment in order to ensure that the equipment is available, reliable and safe to operate.
Monitor parts usage and report on any materials issues.
Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts and supplies.
Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
Accurate completion of work orders and time cards on paper or electronically (tablet).
Complete a “Quick-check” to determine the need for other unrelated repairs and advise the manager of potential future issues.
Other duties as required.
Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
Hazards associated with the trade.
Travel to off-site locations may be required.
Work both indoors and outdoors.
May be exposed to construction sites.
