We are focused on the Building Restoration industry and are capable of providing a wide range of exterior building envelope repair services. We have worked with hundreds of clients for residential buildings in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Welder is responsible for joining metal components using various welding techniques to create or repair structures, equipment, and components according to technical specifications and safety standards. This role involves interpreting blueprints and diagrams, selecting appropriate welding methods and materials, and ensuring high-quality welds that meet strength and appearance requirements. The Welder plays a key role in maintaining the structural integrity and precision of fabricated metal products, contributing to the overall efficiency, safety, and success of construction and manufacturing projects.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and understand blueprints, sketches, and project drawings to plan welding layouts and determine materials and tools required
• Set up welding machines, select proper electrodes or filler metals, and adjust settings for optimal performance based on job requirements
• Join, fabricate, or repair metal parts and assemblies using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, arc, or oxy-acetylene welding
• Use cutting, grinding, and shaping tools to prepare and finish metal joints and components
• Inspect completed welds to ensure accuracy, durability, and compliance with safety and quality standards
• Perform minor fitting and alignment of metal parts before and after welding to maintain structural integrity
• Maintain welding tools and equipment in safe working condition, and report any malfunctions or hazards promptly
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Experience: 1 year of work experience as a Welder
• Education: Completion of secondary school
• Language: Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
