Are you a 5th or 4th Class Power Engineer with the ability to operate a boiler independently and the interest to learn about production and processes? We are looking for a Power Engineer to provide temporary vacation coverage for our client’s Chief Operator from March 1-3, 2019. This is a great opportunity for someone who is ultra-reliable, able to work independently and is eager learn processes

The operation is located in Saanich, part of Greater Victoria, with great parks and amazing schools. Victoria is just a 30-45 minutes flight away from Vancouver. If you want to take a little cruise through the Strait of Georgia going to the mainland, taking the BC ferries will be your best option. With good public transportation and highway access this is a great opportunity to live and work where commuting is a breeze.

Terms of Employment: 3-day vacation coverage contract March 1-3, 2019.

Salary: $20 per hour.

Education: Certified 5th or 4th Class Power Engineer.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Your Power Engineering skills will ensure efficient boiler operation, but your ability to communicate with the head brewer and help out all team members will ensure equipment is operating efficiently and business success.
  • A professional appearance and attitude will also be required as both consumers and business clients will be on site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operating a small package boiler, while assisting with the production, cleaning, packaging and transportation of good.
  • Experience and certification in Fork Lift Operation would be preferred.
