Technical Program Manager

What You’ll Be Doing:
The Program Manager will lead the delivery of a comprehensive Property and Casualty (P&C) data and analytics solution. This includes managing project execution from planning to post-implementation support, working with cross-functional business and IT teams, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the entire lifecycle, planning, and delivery of large-scale data and analytics software implementations, ensuring that scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.
- Collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, data engineers, and IT to gather and translate requirements.
- Manage project documentation, dashboards, and stakeholder communications tailored to varying levels (technical teams to C-suite).
- Oversee ETL workflows and ensure successful integration with all the core insurance systems. ( billing, claims, underwriting, historical data)
- Ensure proper application of data governance, privacy, and compliance standards.
- Track dependencies, mitigate risks, and escalate issues appropriately to maintain project momentum.
- Drive user adoption and support change management initiatives.
- Stay current with insurance industry trends and analytics best practices.
Required Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with data warehouse projects in the Property and Casualty Space, including ETL design and data modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
- Working knowledge of SQL, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), and analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud data environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including tools like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.
- Exposure to insurance domain data (policy, claims, billing, actuarial) and standards like ACORD.
- Comfortable working alongside teams using Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies.
- Experience with project tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, Confluence, or similar.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in program/project management, with 3+ years in P&C insurance data and analytics.
- 3+ years leading data warehouse implementation projects.
- Strong command of project fundamentals: scheduling, resource management, RAID tracking, and stakeholder reporting.
- Excellent communication skills; capable of engaging both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- PMP certification or Agile certification (CSM, PMI-ACP) is a plus.
