Located within a half-hour drive of Vancouver and minutes from Surrey, Richmond and New Westminster, Delta, BC packs a punch when it comes to pioneer history, natural assets of beaches, parks and farmlands. Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent 

Shifts: Monday to Friday, day shift, 

Salary: $45+- DOE based on experience, certifications and tickets.

  • C of Q Journeyman Class A Welder required. 
  • Class A pressure welder certification must be up to date. 


  • 5 years (preferred) 
  • Attitude is key and must be a team player. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welding of structural & plate fabrications in steel and stainless-steel materials 
  • Structural plates fabrication from steel and stainless-steel materials 
  • Work with a diversity of products, metals, designs and components 
  • To work safely with others in a production shop environment 
  • Have own basic tools 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to stay calm, ‘roll with the punches’ and adapt to frequent changes and roadblocks. 
  • Ability to work independently, proactively and to prioritize accordingly. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, clients and vendors. 
  • Ability to accurately read detailed construction/machining shop drawings 
  • Understand quality control procedures used during fabrication 
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision once trained
