Salary: $49.05 per hour. Unionized. Relocation assistance may be offered for the right candidate.

  • Red Seal or Journey-level Millwright/Industrial Mechanic certification required.
  • Dual-ticketed Millwright/Welder would be an asset. 
  • Minimum two (2) years of heavy manufacturing experience.
  • Welding and pipefitting experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in various work environments (hot and cold).
  • Self-starter: Capacity to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Good attitude and ability to communicate effectively with others. 
  • Reliable and dependable.
  • A commitment to working safely.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Driver’s licence preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Planned and break down maintenance on a variety of large industrial equipment such as Large roller supported Rotary Cement Kilns, ball mills, large gearsets, impact crusher, Nordberg and Clemro Jaw Crusher, fans, blowers, wet and dry screw compressors, sliding vane compressors, belt conveyors, bucket elevators, pneumatic conveyors, air gravity conveyors, drag conveyors, and screw conveyors.
  • Inspect and monitor all mechanical equipment to ensure the majority of tasks performed are preventative rather than breakdown maintenance.
  • Regularly communicate with operational and delivery coworkers and managers to identify and remove constraints of a mechanical or process nature.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in a safe and efficient fashion.
  • Other duties as required.
