Maintenance Technician – Windsor, ON

Salary: $39.44/hour

Shifts: 10PM- 6AM OR 6AM-2PM / 2PM-10PM Rotating. We especially want to hear from people interested in working the 10pm-6am shift. 

Requirements:

  • Red Seal or BC Journey-level Millwright (433A) OR Maintenance Electrician (442A) or (309A) certification OR Completed Courses in Robitics, Automation, PLC education etc
  • Must have at least a minimum of four years’ experience in an industrial maintenance environment, with preference given to those who have knowledge and experience in the areas of PLC (OMRON/AB, Robotic (Fanuc), electrical, mechanical and hydraulics. We consider experience as a valuable asset so if you don’t have certifications but do have many years of experience as a maintenance technician we still want to talk with you.
  • Experience Working on manufacturing equipment, processing equipment, pumps, conveyors, motors, and gearboxes preferred.
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Beckhoff programming is an asset.
  • Computer & PLC knowledge is an asset.
  • Installation and setup of production tooling to +/- .005th Proficiency in PLC & HMI programming.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively complete maintenance work to include electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and general repair and maintenance of all equipment to maintain quality and production levels.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting of equipment and miscellaneous downtime issues 
  • Perform preventative maintenance of equipment within manufacturers specifications.
  • Maintain the building by repairing as required.
  • Fabricating or building items/building maintenance as requested 
  • Robotic repairs and maintenance.
  • Always promote an atmosphere of teamwork.
  • Recommend and participate in Continuous Improvement activities. 
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Work in compliance with the Quality and Business Operating Systems and all health and safety and environmental legislation.
  • Completion of any other duties as assigned.
