Located within a half-hour drive of Vancouver and minutes from Surrey, Richmond and New Westminster, Delta, BC packs a punch when it comes to pioneer history, natural assets of beaches, parks and farmlands. Salary: $39.55-$43.65 per hour, plus shift premiums. Unionized.

Shifts: 3pm-12:30 am or 9 pm – 6:30 am 4 day work week and holiday relief (various).  Must be available to work various shifts. 

Education: Red Seal Certified or BC Provincial Millwright ticket required.


  • At least 3 years of experience as a full-time maintenance mechanic in a fast-paced manufacturing plant environment.

  • Must have working knowledge and experience with conveyors, valves, and ability to read blueprints.

  • Fabrication experience with the ability to TIG weld is an asset.

  • Experience in HACCP is an asset.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Working Knowledge of HMI as they relate to processing, filling equipment in a food manufacturing environment. 

  • Must have a strong background in electrical diagnostics and repair.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. 

  • Must be highly organized, be able to multi-task and has great attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to handle moderate lifting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintenance of filling equipment, pumps, conveyors and PLE equipment in a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing plant.

  • Machining parts for overhaul and repair of equipment.

  • Installation of new equipment and other duties related to plant and equipment maintenance.

  • Other duties as required.
