Are you a licensed Millwright with at least 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing setting? The successful candidate will be responsible for minimizing downtime and the execution of a preventative maintenance program, equipment troubleshooting and hands-on corrective actions. Education: 

  • Certified Millwright ticket required

Experience:

  • Experience with screw conveyors, belt conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, reducers, machinery rebuilding and troubleshooting

Skills and Abilities: 

  • Ability to work shifts as there is maintenance coverage from Sunday to Saturday with Nights and Afternoon coverage M-F addressed through a rotating shift schedule

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As part of the maintenance staff, you will focus on minimizing downtime and the execution of a preventative maintenance program, equipment troubleshooting and hands-on corrective actions.

  • Responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance on processing equipment, maximizing equipment uptime, and general maintenance repairs

  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions

  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts through a PM or unscheduled maintenance

  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance and/or set-up

  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints.

  • Work independently when required, and as part of a team

  • Promote and comply with Health and Safety regulations

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to apprentices

  • Other duties as assigned
