Lead Manufacturing Engineer
As a Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will be critical in optimizing machining processes, improving machine and operator efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll work in a dynamic environment that values innovation, safety, and collaboration.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Experience:
- At least 4 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with CNC programming, tooling, methods development, and fixture design.
- Proficiency with SAP and statistical controls.
- Knowledge of plating, painting, and assembly finish applications.
- Spanish/English bilingual skills.
- Understanding of PLC/CNC programming, GD&T, and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills—ability to convey complex information clearly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize CNC machining processes for higher efficiency and product quality.
- Create/modify CNC programs using Mastercam, Siemens, Fanuc, or similar platforms.
- Select tooling, fixtures, and work-holding solutions to enhance manufacturing performance.
- Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, programming, and equipment.
- Collaborate with production, design, and quality teams for manufacturability and NPI support.
- Analyze cycle times, tooling lifespan, and machining parameters to boost cost efficiency.
- Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Plan and execute capital improvement projects (e.g., equipment upgrades).
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for manufacturing processes and SOPs.
- Improve site capabilities, safety, and utilization through cross-functional collaboration.
- Use change management and project management skills for effective implementation of improvements.
