The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and reconditioning customers’ equipment in the shop and field.

Locations: Biggar, Outlook, Central Butte, and Elrose, SK. 

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience.

Benefits: Full benefits package which includes medical, dental, disability, life insurance, and matched pension. An annual tool and boot allowance will be provided.        

 Shifts: 

  • Normal hours are 8am-5pm with overtime in seeding and harvest season.

Education:  

  • Red Seal or SK Journeyman Agricultural Mechanic Certificate an asset. 

Experience:

  • Previous ag equipment dealership experience is an asset but not a requirement.

 Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be thoroughly familiar with heavy-duty farm equipment, including combines, tractors, seeders, and sprayers.

  • Must know the details and construction of many machines and have the knowledge and skill to make repairs properly.

  • Familiarization with the testing equipment and diagnostic procedures, as well as maintaining proficiency will be required.

  • Must possess computer skills for the diagnostics of equipment.

  • Excellent customer service skills. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recondition and repair machinery and equipment assigned by the Service Manager. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and plan methods in sequence of performing work required in a timely and safe manner. 

  • Meet with customers to and perform field service repairs. 

  • Maintain a clean work area and perform miscellaneous duties associated with the job.

  • Prepare all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments. 

  • Other duties as required.
