We have worked with hundreds of clients for residential buildings in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Household Appliance Installer installs, tests, and ensures the proper functioning of household appliances for construction and renovation projects. Responsibilities include handling the installation of appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, washers, and dryers, following safety and technical guidelines. The role ensures all appliances are installed to meet manufacturer specifications, contributing to the overall success and safety of construction projects. Collaborates with other trades to meet project timelines.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interpret blueprints and job orders to plan the layout and installation process for household appliances.
- Accurately measure and outline installation areas, ensuring precise placement based on project requirements.
- Install, maintain, and repair a variety of interior household appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, washers, and dryers, utilizing both hand and power tools.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure proper operation and alignment with project specifications.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and manufacturer specifications to support construction projects effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Experience: 1 year of work experience as a Household Appliance Installer
- Education: Completion of secondary school
- Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
