They are seeking several Heavy Duty Equipment/Lift Truck Mechanics at their various locations in Washington, USA. Reporting to the Service Manager, this role will be responsible for maintenance and repair of material handling equipment while providing excellent customer service in the field. Locations: Tukwila, Yakima.

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience and location.

Shifts: M-F day shifts.


  • Various levels of certification and experience will be considered. Heavy-Duty Equipment, Automotive, and/or Diesel experience/certification preferred. 

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Precious aerial platform and lift truck experience.

  • Experience with Hydraulics and Propane is an asset.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong computer and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work alone/unsupervised. 

  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lb.

  • Must be able to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing, reaching, and grasping.

  • Criminal background and drug test required. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Repair various types of material handling equipment: Forklifts, telehandlers, aerial lifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, sweepers & scrubbers, and on occasion, specialty equipment. 

  • Communicate with the supervisor on job expectations and estimated labor times.

  • Provide customer service through communication and flexibility with repair work.

  • Ensure all appropriate documents are filled and signed.

  • Collaborate with various departments.

  • Look for additional repair opportunities on retail jobs.

  • Other duties as required.
