Salary: $36.50 hourly for 30 hours per week

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Glazier is responsible for carrying out precise glass installation, replacement, and maintenance work across commercial and industrial projects. The role requires the ability to interpret technical drawings, handle glass materials safely, and install a range of glazing systems. Working both indoors and outdoors, including at elevated heights, the Glazier supports high-quality workmanship and ensures all installations meet safety standards and project specifications.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Read blueprints, drawings, and work orders to understand glass sizes, types, and installation requirements.
· Measure, mark, cut, and prepare glass using hand tools or equipment for installation.
· Install and secure glass in windows, doors, partitions, mirrors, and other structures.
· Install aluminum frames, storefront systems, and related metal components.
· Replace broken or damaged glass and ensure proper sealing and finishing.
· Repair and maintain existing glass systems when required.
· Use ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment safely to complete work at various heights.
· Handle and install specialty glass products based on project needs.
· Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
· Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and clean condition.
· Work with supervisors and team members to complete projects efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Experience: 2 years of work experience as a Glazier
· Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
· Language: Speak English, Read English, Write English
