Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time.
Shift: 12 pm – 8:30 pm Night Shift. Monday Through Friday
Location: Saskatoon, SK.
Salary: Journeyman Rate up to $40.67

Requirements:
- Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certificate
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Commercial Vehicle Inspection Certificate preferred
- Valid class 1 / AZ operators license is preferred
- Dedication to safety; a safety leader to help drive a strong safety culture
- Working knowledge in the use of hand tools is required
- Strong computer and mathematical skill set
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, reliability and flexibility while working as part of the team
- Background check will be conducted as part of the hiring process
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned
- Diagnose vehicle failures and perform mechanical repairs and replacements as required
- Respond to local road calls and/or coordinate service support as necessary
- Maintain work area appearance and safety
- Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
- Leverage predictive diagnostic software to aid in eliminating vehicle breakdowns
- Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments; as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, jacks and hoists
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities through asset management system
- Complete all necessary documents, including eHOS and electronic vehicle inspection records
- Other duties and tasks assigned by Fleet Supervisor/Manager
