POSITION SUMMARY:
The Siding Installer is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining exterior cladding systems on residential and commercial properties. The role involves interpreting project specifications, preparing surfaces, and ensuring precise installation of siding materials. The position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights while maintaining safety standards and delivering high-quality workmanship.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Review project drawings and work orders to determine installation requirements and layout
· Measure and mark surfaces to ensure accurate placement of siding materials
· Install exterior siding systems such as vinyl, aluminum, wood, or composite materials
· Remove and replace damaged or worn siding, ensuring proper sealing and weatherproofing
· Cut and fit siding materials to required dimensions for proper installation
· Install trims, flashing, soffit, fascia, and related exterior components
· Use hand and power tools to complete installation and repair tasks
· Work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment safely
· Perform repairs and maintenance on existing siding systems as required
· Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Experience: 1 year of work experience as Siding Installer
· Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
· Language: Proficiency in English
