Terms: Permanent, Full-time.
Salary: Up to $35/hr, depending on experience and certification. Unionized.

Red Seal/Journeyperson Carpenter certification is a strong asset but not required.
Uncertified, certified, and apprentices are highly encouraged to apply. We will help train and provide funding for an apprenticeship or certification in carpentry.
4+ years of construction experience preferred.
General carpentry, formwork, and/or residential wood framing experience required.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent knowledge of the construction, erection and installation of engineered formwork systems for columns, walls, suspended slabs, slab on grade and stairs.
Knowledgeable in trade related math, volumes and areas.
Ability to read blueprints and have an understanding of the BC Building Code.
Able to work alone, or as part of a team.
Hardworking and able to accept direction from a supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Erecting and building scaffold for concrete formwork decks.
Stripping and removal of concrete formwork after concrete pours.
Interior finishing – case, base, hang doors, and window liners.
Installation of anchor bolts.
Build hoardings and concrete sidewalk forming.
Other duties as required.
At heights and balance on platforms, scaffolds and decks.
Exposed to the elements.
Work is physically demanding.
Travel within the Greater Victoria Area and/or Vancouver Island.
