Job Title: Machine Welder
Salary: $47 per hour
Position: Full-time; permanent (35-60 hours per week). Morning, evenings, night and weekend shifts required. Some overtime may be required.

Skills and Education: Secondary School, or equivalent experience; At least 3-5 years of relevant work
experience as a machine welder; Experience in Welding techniques; Gas Tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG); Gas
metal arc wel ding (GMAW); Flux Core arc welding (FCAW);
Duties/Responsibilities: Interpret welding process specifications; Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully
automated welding equipment; Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and
processes; Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications; Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment; Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal; Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC); Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
Certificates Required: First Aid; Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
