This Account Manager sales role is built for someone with a hunter mentality who can develop new business, grow existing accounts, and win in competitive industrial environments like mining, oil & gas, forestry, and manufacturing across Northern BC’s Cariboo Region and Prince George.
You’ll sell into essential industries that continue to invest and grow.
What You’ll Own
- A large, active territory with both established accounts and untapped potential
- A full suite of industrial compressed air systems and support solutions
- The freedom to manage your schedule and run your territory like a business
What You’ll Be Doing
- Proactively prospecting and generating new business (this is not a sit behind a desk role)
- Building relationships with maintenance teams, plant managers, and decision-makers
- Identifying challenges and delivering practical, cost-effective solutions
- Managing the full sales cycle—from first call to close
- Spending the majority of your time in the field (4–5 days/week) meeting customers
- Growing existing accounts while aggressively expanding your footprint
What You Bring
- 5+ years of outside sales experience in heavy industry (mining, oil & gas, forestry, industrial equipment, or similar)
- A proven track record of winning new business and hitting targets
- Strong mechanical/technical aptitude—you’re comfortable around equipment and job sites
- Self-discipline and accountability to thrive in a remote, independent role
- Willingness to travel extensively across Northern BC

The Cariboo region is located in the central interior of British Columbia. It is situated between the Cariboo Mountains to the east and reaches west across the Fraser River plateau to the Coast Mountains. Major cities in the Cariboo region include 100 Mile House, Williams Lake and Quesnel. The pre-dominant activities within the Cariboo region include forestry, agriculture and ranching. Activities including mining and mineral exploration, transportation, energy. Recreational activities such as fishing and hunting also occur in the region.
