24586 Civil Project Engineer Phoenix/Tucson AZ area

Our Fortune 500 Specialty Foods Manufacturer with state-of-the-art plant in Phoenix/Tucson area is looking for a Civil Project Engineer to lead the planning, design, and execution of high-profile capital and infrastructure initiatives—shaping site development, utilities, roadways, drainage systems, and structural enhancements for this ever expanding top producing manufacturing site

  • Own the Results: Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality to deliver projects on time and within expectations.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with architects, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to bring complex projects to life.
  • Engineer Excellence: Prepare and review innovative designs, technical specifications, and construction documents that set the standard.
  • Think Strategically: Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to guide smart decision-making.
  • Ensure Compliance: Navigate local, state, and federal regulations, including permitting and environmental requirements.
  • Lead on Site: Oversee construction activities, perform inspections, and resolve challenges in real time.
  • Mentor & Inspire: Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior engineers and project staff.
  • Shape the Future: Support capital planning by identifying infrastructure needs and developing forward-thinking project proposals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a closely related discipline). PE or PMP certification (preferred, not required).
  • 7+ years of engineering and project management experience, specializing in capital and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong command of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and project delivery systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), project management tools (MS Project, Primavera), AutoCAD, and civil design software (Civil 3D).
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to lead teams and communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Experience managing infrastructure projects in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices and green infrastructure solutions.
  • Knowledge of contract administration and procurement processes.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
  • Understanding of Design Control, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and cGMP standards; familiarity with GAMP5 and FDA’s Computer Software Assurance initiatives is a plus.
  • Must be US citizen or green card holder unable to provide sponsorship at this time
