The successful candidate will assist and report to the Maintenance Manager.  Duties include operating and maintaining various systems including gas boilers, electrically and pneumatically operated pumps, mixing valves, and more. Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Abbotsford, BC

Salary: $60,000-$63,000 range/year depending on experience

Benefits: Comprehensive benefits program

Shifts: Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:00pm (Must be available for on-call shifts)


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, preference given to candidates with manufacturing experience
  • Experience with pumps and liquid transfer equipment, and troubleshooting these systems
  • Experience repairing and troubleshooting conveyor systems including gearboxes and chain drives

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong troubleshooting knowledge and experience
  • Basic welding and fabricating skills
  • Basic industrial electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Basic plumbing and pipe fitting skills
  • Proficiency in the use of hand tools and shop equipment
  • Computer literate and able to navigate through a CMMS system
  • Knowledgeable in lock-out tag-out procedures, and safe work practices
  • Knowledge of relevant industrial safety regulations
  • Valid B.C. Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain operation of mechanical equipment and machinery
  • Completing preventive maintenance requirements and documenting on equipment
  • Keep the maintenance shop in order, check inventory
  • Work closely with production staff
